What I learned along the way and what I was mistaken about

I learned many things as I read other peoples blogs and did some research to learn more about some of the questions I had. This blog is also made to correct some of the things I have said in my last blogs that may not be completely correct. The first thing is that coffee will not cause insomnia. The caffeine from coffee will give energy anywhere from 4 to 7 hours, so depending on the time you drink your last cup of coffee will determine if you have struggles sleeping sometimes. The water shouldn’t be above 200 degrees Fahrenheit when poured on the coffee grounds because it can cause a burnt flavor to the coffee. Coffee actually doesn't dehydrate you, the water that makes up a cup of coffee counters the dehydrating effects of the caffeine.  It is also proven that coffee doesn’t help lose weight. It barely increases a person's metabolism, this won’t be enough to actually help someone consistently lose weight if that’s your goal. Japanese iced coffee is a method used to produce a good cup of iced coffee, making double the strength of coffee and incorporating the water from the melted ice would dilute it to a good strength. Alzheimer’s, dementia, depression, Parkinson’s, and cancer are disorders that have some proven evidence about coffee being beneficial. I have also learned that taking a 20 minute nap after drinking coffee can give a person more energy for the day. Coffee beans should be stored in a place with little to no sunlight, is not cold or not (about room temperature), and they should be in a closed container to minimize the air it comes in contact with. As a legend tells Coffee dates back to 800 A.D. Coffee beans are actually seeds, but they resemble legumes more which is why they are called beans. The two main types of bean are Arabica and Robusta. Arabica is more commonly produced and Robusta are more bitter and contain more caffeine. Brazil grows the most coffee in the world and only two United states actually produce coffee.  Espresso means “pressed out” in Italian, which makes sense since espresso is forcing boiling water through pressed coffee grounds. The world’s most expensive coffee costs more than six hundred dollars but has drawn criticism from animal welfare activists. The Boston Tea Party helped popularize coffee in America. There are so many fun and interesting facts about coffee. Hopefully this gets you more interested in coffee and has you wanting to know more.
